Our WASH program
Our WASH program provides expertise and interventions aimed at saving lives, and reducing illnesses by improving access to safe water, sanitation and improved hygiene.
Our WASH Program works on a long term sustainable prevention and control measures for improving social-economic development, reducing poverty, improving health, as well as responding to emergencies and outbreak of WASH related illnesses.
By providing communities with safe water, sanitation infrastructure and educating people on good hygiene practices, we would help slum dwellers and local communities achieve a better and improved quality of life.
We collaborate with our education, empowerment and livelihood & food expert through partnerships with other organizations. Our mode of operation depends primarily on the WASH need of our target beneficiaries.
Our WASH Programmes focus on four major areas:
- Supplying of safe water for drinking, cooking, household cleaning and personal hygiene.
- Disease surveillance and vigilance on water quality and sanitation practices.
- Hygiene promotion, mobilization and education of safe hygiene, as well as ensuring people are WASH compliant.
- Provision and maintenance of toilets which are safer and can be used by all genders at all times.
