Yakubu Sikta Wakawa, a graduate of sterpro computer institute Maiduguri, Borno state, where he earned a Diploma in Computer Application. He furthered his education by obtaining a National Diploma in Estate Management from Ramat Polytechnic Maiduguri, Borno state, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.
Yakubu has an extensive background in various roles within International Government Organizations (INGOs). He served as an Enumerator Officer and Enumerator GIS Mapping at Catholic Relief Service Humanitarian Aid Organization, specifically engaged with Dikwa Camp in Dikwa LGA, from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, he contributed to Reach (ACTED) Nigeria during the same period. His commitment extended to a volunteer role as a Supervisor on the Micro Guarding Project with Christian Aid in Dikwa LGA from 2018 to 2019. Notably, Yakubu has consistently been an integral part of the Save the Slum Initiative team.
His versatile experiences and dedication to humanitarian efforts have equipped Yakubu with a well-rounded perspective and skill set. Through his involvement in diverse projects, he has demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those he serves within the community.
