The project will solarize 50 existing water points across 4 LGAs in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, providing clean, reliable water to 200,000 people, including schools, healthcare centers, and communities. Each point will have a 1.5kW solar pump system with water storage tanks installed based on specific site needs. Community Water Point Management Committees and trained local technicians will ensure sustainable operation while reducing reliance on diesel, lowering costs, and improving health outcomes.
